Policies 

LPDC WAIVER: I understand that Lisa Pilato Dance Center does not give credit and/or refunds for class(es) missed due to holiday, vacation, illness or weather. I further understand that there are specific risks, including COVID-19, physical or property damages, losses, or injury that may result from my or my child’s participation with Lisa Pilato Dance Center, and I voluntarily assume the risks associated with such participation.

REGISTRATION FEE:  I understand that a non-refundable $40 registration fee for each dancer (new and returning) is required to reserve a spot in class. 

PAYMENTS:  I understand that a credit card must be provided at the time of registration.  I understand, all families are automatically enrolled in auto-pay via the credit card provided at registration and that the card on file will be charged on the 1st calendar day of each month for tuition. I will have 9 monthly tuition payments due the on the first calendar day of each month, September through May.  Payments made after the 10th of each month will incur an additional $15 service fee due.  I understand that if I wish to not have my credit card automatically processed on the first of each month, I must make payment at the office before the first of the month. Please contact the office if you have any questions 978-459-5732.

PAST DUE FEES:  I understand, any fees 30 days past due will be charged to the credit card on file. 

RETURNED CHECKS:  I understand, there is a $30 fee for returned checks.

DRESS CODE:  I understand that the LPDC has a dress code for class and that proper dress code is required to attend class.  (PDF will download at the final step of registration).

INCLEMENT WEATHER: Each class is allotted one snow day.  In the event the studio must close due to inclement weather, we will post information on our Facebook page Lisa Pilato Dance Center and on our voicemail (978) 459-LPDC. No refunds will be given in the event of inclement weather.

RECITAL:  I understand the recital will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 (tentative) at 2:00pm (Show A), 7:00pm (Show B) and Sunday, May 19, 2023, 3:00pm (Show C). Not all students perform in all shows.  I understand, if I take multiple classes or have multiple children enrolled, the LPDC cannot guarantee that all recital dances will be in the same show.

RECITAL COSTUME DEPOSITS:  I understand that a non-refundable, $75 per class recital costume deposit(s) will be automatically processed with the card on file with my November tuition on November 1, and my recital costume balance(s) will be processed with the card on files with my February tuition payment on February 1.  Costume prices range $80-$95.

RECITAL TICKETS:  I understand that recital tickets go on sale, at 12:00 noon, Sunday, April 7, 2024, on line at www.21171.recitalticketing.com.  No tickets are sold before this date and times, except to staff.  Tickets are $30.00 advanced purchase. Tickets at the door are $35.00. Seating is reserved.

RECITAL COSTUME PICK UP WEEK:  Recital costume pick up week begins April 29, 2024.  I understand that recital costumes cannot be taken home until all balances, including May tuition, are paid in full.

HOLIDAYS:  I understand that the LPDC does not follow all school schedules for Holidays. (Please refer to calendar provided on calendar page).

MISSED CLASSES:  No refunds or discounts given for missed classes. If you wish to make-up a missed class, please contact the office (978-459-LPDC) for suggested classes.

DROPPING CLASSES:  If you wish to discontinue class, you must notify the LPDC. Please contact the office (978-459-LPDC) or email us at info@lpdc.net  in order to be officially removed from roster and auto-pay. No refunds are given for mid-month drops.

SUBSTITUTE/RESCHEDULED CLASSES:  Due to our competitive team’s competition schedule, there may be instances that your class will be rescheduled or that your class will have a substitute faculty member.  This generally applies to the Saturday classes on the following dates: January 26-28, February 9-11, March 8-10, March 14-17, 2024.

LOST/STOLEN PROPERTY:  The LPDC is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
